Specialized Conveyor Belting MaterialsCambelt builds conveyors to serve a wide variety of industries and operations. Obviously, there is no single system that will fit every job perfectly. We have the expertise to meet the needs of nearly any dry bulk material handling project.
Even the belting material can be customized for the requirements of specific operations. Cambelt offers belting compounds capable of handling diverse conditions that call for special safety considerations and that, in some cases, would obliterate a natural rubber belt.
General Purpose Belting - Cambelt's general purpose belting stands up to the abuse and wear of most operations very well. Our patented process for homogeneously curing our conveyor belts from a single piece of rubber allows them to outlast other belts by three times or more.
Oil & Fat Resistant Belting - Over time, certain oils and grease can cause deterioration of rubber belting. Our oil resistant compound is perfect for moving bulk materials that tend to be oily such as castor beans, bronze chips, hog fuel chips, corn products, and animal products.
Heat Resistant Belting - Often conveyor belts are required to carry materials that are very hot. For example, conveyors used in foundries or steel mills handle refuse and feed stock material at high temperatures. Standard rubber belting would damage under this kind of heat. Our heat resistant compound can withstand much higher temperatures and is suitable for many extreme temperature applications.
Flame Retardant Belting - In the case of transporting flammable or explosive materials or in an environment where fires may occur, it's helpful to have conveyor belting constructed with flame retardant rubber. This compound is well suited for any situation where flammable material is present even if it isn't in direct contact with the belt.
MSHA Approved Belting - The Mine Safety and Health Administration sets standards for equipment used in mines in the United States. Cambelt's MSHA Approved belting material meets all the safety requirement set by the MSHA for conveyor belting.
Conductive Belting - Many common chemical and agricultural products such as fertilizers, grains, and hay can produce explosive clouds of dust. Even with safety systems in place, there are risks of explosion sometimes sparked by a static electric charge. Conductive belting eliminates static build up and reduces the risk of explosion.
Standard (White) Belting - White conveyor belting is ideal for food production and other settings where contamination could be a danger. These belts are easier to clean thoroughly because residue from conveyed materials typically stands out better against a white background.
Oil & Fat Resistant (White) Belting - This material combines the benefits of sanitary white belting and oil resistant belting, a sensible combination for belting that is used in food production involving animal products or oily agricultural products such as corn.
